87-93 heater/water pump hose question
im kind of new to this mustang thing so any help would...help, im putting heater tube assembly back on a 89 5.0 mustang, but im not sure where the little hoses go, they are the ones that go from the heater tube, and the 1 coming from the thermostat housing? there is 2 out lets on the water pump, upper and lower, which one connects to what? help would really be appreciated! thanks in advance

You should have a little short 90 degree hose for the thermostat bypass. It goes from the thermostat to the top side on the water pump. The bottom side of the water pump goes to the heater core. If your car is still has the metal tubing on the top of the lower intake, then it goes to the one on the bottom. It should be right behind the belt tensioner.
