C-6 In Foxbody With A 351w?!?!
ok so here's what happened, i'm doing a 351w swap into a 93 coupe, now I have a c-6 tranny for it but they say it wont work, tranny is to long, have to cut driveshaft, now I really dont wanna do that, are they just bullshitting me or will this tranny fit? if not i'm just going to get a c-4

id recommend a c6 if you were driving a truck ...otherwise id go with a c4 - you would be much happier

Re: C-6 In Foxbody With A 351w?!?!
ok, so if i go with the C-4 will it mount up right and will it fit in there without any driveshaft modifications? I have the aftermarket cross-member for the true dual exhuast and the cross-members arent welded to the bushing housing yet so its still front to back adjustable. and i'm going with solid motor and transmission mounts

im not sure on the driveshaft length as i havent done it myself ...somebody else will have to tell you that one or ..there is a neat little search button - you could try using that
