Default My MPG Problem!!!!!!!

i finaly figured out my MPG problem, well remeber i was getting like 13-15 mpg... well it is the transmition... when i put in the tremec i did not know that it had a different drive gear in it.... which makes the odometer run slower.... hence every 10 miles i go it reads 8.2 miles = bad mialge i got the corect gear yesterday and ill be putting it in today!!!

That's good news that your found the problem but it sucks that Tremec didn't put the same gears in

Where did you purchase your Tremec? They should have told you that Tremecs have a different speedo drive gear. I think the Tremec's are 7 tooth instead of 6 in the T-5's. D&D set me up with a 20 tooth (black) speedo gear for my Tremec when I got mine last year - I called them to tell them they sent me the wrong gear (I had a 21 tooth in my T-5 w/3.55s before), and that's when they informed me that the Tremecs have a different drive gear.
