Question Clutch Adjustment???

How do you adjust the clutch on an 89 5.0??

im almost certain that a stock clutch is not adjustable.

I think it might be in the manual. You're supposed to be able to pull the clutch pedal towards you until you hear a click. I don't think that it works well, if at all....I tried it, and it didn't do anything that I noticed. Get an adjustible clutch kit...with the firewall adjuster, cable, and quadrant...the stock setup sucks anyway.

Yes, the stock ones have an adjustment that is "automatic" that should move like tightening a zip-tie...

Get the Forte adjsutable (works with stock cable) and is very nice, for about $100.
