Post $ Help finding 347 stroker kit! $

I need help finding the best price on a stroker kit with a forged steel crank (4340).
I am looking for the whole rotating assembly.

I have a friend who is going to help me build the motor for free.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thumbs up

I got mine from "modernmustang.com" It is the eagle stroker kit with crank (forged or cast), H-beam rods, Je pistons (pop ups or dished), je file fit rings. Exellent quality!

Summit and Speed-o-motive have pretty good prices on their kits as well.

I bought my pieces individually. Automotion located in Indianapolis Indiana has great prices and will prob ship to you. Such as eagle forged rods for only 319..I think about 500 in forged pistons..What kind of heads and intake are u going to run?? Good Luck

I am getting the 347 kit that excessive motorsports sells because they screwed up one of my orders really bad so they are giving me a really good deal on the kit; better than I could find anywhere else.

The kit comes with a 5140 steel crank and 4340 H-beam rods, ect.

What is the difference between 5140 and 4340 steel?

I will be running canfields heads with race port work and a performer rpm intake and a 750 carb.
Do you think I should run a victor jr. intake or the performer rpm intake?
I will only be turning it to about 6000 rpm.

My compression will be 10.9-1.

Won't the vic jr. be a little too much for only turning 6000 rmp's?
