You most have the most awfull traction problem of all time.

A 9.4 @87mph = A 14.66 @ 109.62mph

My advice to you is buy some slicks you 1/8th mile time should be in the low 8's.

i think we all have traction problems.. I wish there was a golden fix to the traction issues from these cars besides slicks.

When you make enough HP to trap 109 mph. Slicks are the only answer.

Drag radials are ok but even then you are cheating yourself out of ET.

Reaction time has nothing to do with your ET or mph.

I dont care how much HP you make a 2.8 60ft is drivers error.

Slicks will make you very happy. You could easily pull a 1.80 60ft. Every tenth you knock off of your 60 ft is worth 1 1/2 tenths at the end.

I dont care how much suspension work you do. There is no substitute for slicks.

i honestly dont think theirs even a super charger for the 4G (4cyl eclipse), the 6cyl however does have atleast 1 kit and they are also crawwlin junks. why build the 6cyl when you can do the turbo 4cyl.
if it is a turbo 4, first and second gen either gs-t, turbo fwd or gsx, turbo awd, it can be sitting stock and find 13's with a home made boost controller running 19lbs out of the stock turbo and a few other little things if ur smart.

those cars are running 12's and 13's stock?? Maybe i should buy an eclipse............haha, jk. Thats pretty dang quick though. I would guess though that they are paying a bit more for that then a mustang with mods would. Pretty cool thing about those that my small engines teacher was telling us. He was saying that "rice rockets" as he calls them, have to rev high to burn out, relying on their horsepower to make them spin. Kinda like a chain saw, you have to rev it high for it to cut wood, and keep it high, or it bogs down quickly. On muscle cars, you can burn out in lower rpm because the torque does it. Just thought that was kinda neat.

The new ones are POS's. Even with a supercharger I doubt it will run that great.

The older Turbocharged ones are the ones you have to look out for. It isnt uncommon for the Eclipse GSX/Talon TSi's to run mid/low 13's with just minor upgrades such as intake/exhuast and a boost controller.

Back to the original subject, weed wackers in hand.

"How fast is an Eclipse with a supercharger?"

MY answer:

Traction or not, He's not nearly fast enough to play with us.

Smoke his ass and smoke it good!!! I hate foreign cars. Especially an Eclipse. I wouldn't piss on one if it was on fire.
Good Luck!
