Off-road H
Im wanting to put on an off-road h pipe onto my stang in the next few weeks. I know it will bolt up to my stock headers but will it bolt up to my stock 2 1/4 exhaust pipes. I had 2 chamber flows put on about 4 months ago and didnt have enough money to do a whole cat-back.

If you had the Flows welded or clamped to the factory pipes in front, then it should bolt up with no problems. I installed the whole American Thunder system with a BBK H-pipe and I can't remember if the mufflers already had the pipes on the front or not.

yeah all they did was cut out the old mufflers and weld in the flow's so it still has the flanges from the original pipes.

If your going to keep the stock headers,I would start spraying the flang studs/nuts with squirrel jiz now, because my car only had 60k mi, and I still had to cut the old rusted stuff off.I ended up shelling out another $150 and bought some new headers to go along with it.Happy I did .I still can't figure out how exhaust could pass through those kinks in the factory headers?

i am thinking about getting a new set of shorty headers while i was messing with my exhaust. how hard is it to change the headers. i looked at mine earlier today and the passenger side looked like it is a reall pain. oh and by the way i have a 95 GT if that matters any

It is easy to install shorty headers.You can even do it without any help.I disconnected the emissions tubes,etc put the headers on and then you can reconnect all that stuff.should take maybe an hour to do the headers.

Did the H-pipe fit jrock? And did you get the 2 1/2 size?
