Default What cam? Crane, Compcam or trickflow

This is my combo: GT-40p, cobra intake, 65tb, MAC p-headers, catback and o/r h-pipe. I guess IŽll need a cam to take most benefit, keeping decent idle and low end but strong medium range, and not messing with the computer or 1:6 rockers.
What your opinions on the trickflow TFS-51402000, Crane 2030 (or 2031) and Compcam XE-274HR?
Will I need stronger valve springs (than gt-40ps from Summit}?

I intend to install heads, header and cam first; intake, 65 tb later. Any problem? (not enough money to do it at once...)

I would really appreciate any comments.

i would personally go with a custom grind cam from Anderson. i hear nothing but great things about them. when i build my motor, i will be giving them a call myself.

What heads do you plan getting?
The cam i would use is and fms e303 for a decent idle, but a f303 for a rough idle. Both are great cams.

IŽve heard E-303 have poor idle , uses to surge, (or is it the B-cam?). My heads are GT-40p, with little work.
Any experiences with these cams?
Thanks

There's at least another 30hp available with that combination using anything but an E-303, 2031 or other typical off-the-shelf cam. A custom grind is => at most <= $100 more than an OTS cam. Go custom grind.

Another vote for a custom grind cam. I have also heard some people like the TFS cams too. What ever you do stay away form the e-cam or the Crane version of it, the 2040 cam. You won't be happy with it, take it from someone who has one.
