Default G-TEC meter anyone else got one?

Does anyone else have one of these?
Do you trust it?
I've read a couple of articals on them where they tested them
agianst dynos & real drag times and it was pretty close so I
guess it's acurate?what do you guys think?
I have a older one not the new w/lcd screen (sweet)

well, I got one (older model) for free when i purchased a set of tires from tire rack almost two years ago. Use it only twice and now the damm thing does not work anymore ! good thing i did not pay for it .

It works, but the mount on the old model stinks. The new one that goes for about $250 looks REALLY cool. It will upload to your computer and everything. The mounting system looks better, too.

I wouldn't use it for bragging rights, though. I would just use it for tuning purposes.

I used one a few years ago before I started modding my car, and I thought it had to be junk because there was no way my car was that slow. Turns out it was pretty much bang on. Many $$$ spent on the car after that.
