DSM - daimond star motors. made the Eclipses/Talons and a couple other cars i think. The only ones you have to worry about are the Turbo AWD cars. You can make them quick with very little mods but I have heard horror stories about thier reliability.

My friend had a 98 Eclipse GSX with AWD. It was quick for a ricer. He was all stock and could still get whooped by a stock 5.0! One day, his motor blew up, and it would of cost him 8G's to put a stock motor back in, OUCH!!!

Glad I own a Mustang!
