Default Thrush Mufflers

I bought a new set of Thrush Boss Turbo Mufflers tonight...they where only 30 bucks so not bad...I was wondering if anyone is running them and what they sound like a.k.a. loud/quiet/high/low?

I was running them, but i switched em when i got a new hooker exhaust system. But this was on my 79 Bronco. They are really good mufflers for the money, only thing i have run since ive had the bronc. But, they don't last really long, mine had a hole in em after 2 months. But i think it was just a bad set. I'm not sure how they would sound on a stang, but they sounded great on my bronc. But then again, It has a 400 4bbl in it . They flow really well, im sure this didnt help you, just thought id say something.

I had a set too but they were on my '79 f-100 with a 302, It had an edelbrock intake, holley 4bbl, a fairly mild comp. cam and long tube headers.
They sounded pretty good and lasted me a few years.
They aren't the greatest but for the price they aren't bad
they had a fairly deep throaty rumble to them but weren't real loud.
hope this helps some

I guess if you already bought them then throw them on and you tell us how they sound

I have them on my 71 stang with a built 351w. I really like the sound, a nice burble at idle and a good sound wide open. They dont drive me nuts driving either. They have been on for about 5 years and are still going. I am actually thinking about having them put on my 95. Its a sound that no one else will have!

one more thing that I never thought about till now

you won't like them if you still have the stock H-pipe
those cats will quiet it right down

If you have an off road H or X pipe then they should be more to your liking
