Default MAF and superchips

went to the C&L web site and decided on the 76mm MAF meter but not sure if i should put a superchip in, I'm thinking the chip changes timing and fuel settings, but reading this in C&L's calibration chart mades me unsure//We have received requests from people who have tunable computer systems who want transfer functions for stock or slightly larger injector applications. This is totally unnecessary, as our calibrations have already been fine-tuned on the dyno for the best air/fuel ratio. Re-defining the MAF transfer table in such an application would cause the air/fuel ratio to revert back to the richer (and lower performing) stock level. You would then have to manually adjust the WOT fuel table just to get back to the power level that you were already at with the standard MAF transfer function. 93 mustang LX 5.0 off road xpipe and K&N filter,3.73 gear
