You might need to readjust your valves. You might have one or two valves out of adjustment. A few months ago I had some serious rocker noise coming from my stud mounted rockers. So I readjusted the valves and found a couple loose...on top of that one pushrod was clogged with a piece of gasket or RTV silicone or something so the oil wasn't going up the pushrod to the rocker at all! So I replaced the pushrod, readjusted all the valves and everything is peachy.

Mine are a mess, they sound like sh*t and I can't get them to run quiet. They're stud mount roller rockers (proform/blue 1.5 ratio) and I just rebuilt the motor with a new set of Crane blazer pushrods, I'm also running a high volume oil pump which keeps the pressure up plenty even when it's hot. I've tried adjusting them with 1/2 turn then I tried a little more, then 3/4 turn and they almost seem worse. I'd think they'd get quieter and eventually the motor would run crappy if they were too tight, but they wouldn't be noisey. Any ideas??
