Default Oil loss????

Okay,
I go through 1 quart of oil every 200 miles or so. I drive the crap out of my car. I have zero and I mean zero smoke.

The engine is 2 yrs old and has about 20k on it since a rebuild.
I have "something" going on in number 5 cylinder. Occasionally, every 2 months I pull the plug and it has a light film on it or a little deposit.

My question is this, Is it possible to be losing that much oil through a bad valve seal or valve guide? Then why no smoke?
Wouldn't it smoke on startup with a bad seal?

I have checked the floor of my garage and the only leak I know I have is a little around the pressure sensor in the sump.

I am just putting off what I know has to be done (pull the heads)...

Thanks
