Not sure where to put this...
MODS, Sorry if this is in the wrong place!!!!!
I am the president of a car club called The Hollywood Knights. We're the Youngstown chapter (there are MANY chapters). Anyways, I built this video the other day and thought some of you might like to see it. Not ALL stangs, but ALL killer street cars! Feel free to join our message board, click on the "Tubby's" button at www.knights-rule.com Here's the link to the vid: Knights Video

Dude, Nice video! Did you make it? Looks like a cool car club, sure are a lot of those bowties in that club. Still cool though. I wish we had something like that around my area. Just too much damn ricers around here.

Re: Not sure where to put this...
Yep, I made it. My first attempt at such a thing. I was limited to what I actually had on my hard drive, so there are some repeats. My horse is the laser red one you see alot in there, that's the one that's getting the 408. The red mustang with black stripes (and the in car camera, with old 302 engine) now has white stripes and our 333 in it, that thing flys! The green stang with silver stripes had a 347 in it, and it ripped too. It's getting a huge bore (4.160" !)/short stroke engine that's gonna be awesome when he gets it done. The '67 is a sweet azz car too, all "stock" but it's ******* gorgeous!
All in all a very cool club, lots of stangs, I just don't have pics of them all. The blue camaro at the end was an 8.98 pass! Smallblock and street legal even.

Re: Not sure where to put this...
Somehow I knew that laser red mustang was yours. Is that the same car that is in your avatar?

Re: Not sure where to put this...
Yeppers! The avatar pic was right after I brought it home, had to put decals on it to hide the HUGE keyjob down the driver's side. And the fan belt came apart, bitched up the glass hood, so I put a big Cobra on the hood. Then that winter, put the cage in, painted it and fixed all the stoopid stuff. That's what you see in the video, but for the life of me I CANNOT take a picture of the ghost flames. Do know what it is, but they just will not show up on film.

Re: Not sure where to put this...

Re: Not sure where to put this...
I've tried everything I know how to do, they just won't show up! Look way awesome driving down the road (I hear). I THINK I got a pic of them when the car was in my garage, lemme dig through after work tonight and see. If so I'll scan it and throw it up here.

That was a nice video. If Ohio was not so far away, I would beg to be a member!

Start the Wyoming, IL chapter dude. Hit our main site (www.knights-rule.com), there's links to all our cars and events and stuff. "News" is outdated cuz I'm being lazy, I think on the "members" button there is even a copy of our by-laws. That, and we have the coolest coats in town.

Re: Not sure where to put this...
PICS! OK, now this is just fawkin freaky. I have a total of TWO pics of the ghost flames, and when I scanned them, they got all pixelated and goofy looking. Bad enough that the film makes the flames look darker than the car when in reality the flames are actually lighter! The laser red is a tri-coat paint job. Base coat, "Candy" coat, then clear. What we did is lay down the laser red base, then I masked out the flames. We shot those with a vibrant gold called "Vermillion Gold", then buried the whole thing with the candy. Then 6 coats of clear, and presto!
OK, nuf babbling here's the pics: 1 of 2 actual pictures of the flames 2nd actual picture in existance of the flames "Squshy" looking pic (darn scanner!) The "Money Shot". By the way, my nickname is "Lucky" hehehe The sides of my cowl hood. Since these pics, the liscense plate "BAD APPL" became available, so that's what she wears now. And yes, I know that the apple's leaf would look better green. In fact it was painted green orignally. Then my superstition got the best of me, because green is bad luck on a race track. So I removed the green leaf, and had the painter make a brown one. Superstitious? The car picked up a tenth and a half, and that's ALL I did! Anyways, hope you enjoy, cuz I sure as hell do!

Re: Not sure where to put this...
Oh that's good! I'm gonna use that. With a 12.80 sec 302, that might have been a little brazen, but with the new engine....
