Default Help me Please

Ok, i did a search and i couldnt find the information that i am looking for so i am asking here.
First, how can i tell if the 72 351 block is a windsor just by looking at it?
Second, will my Edelbrock 600CFM carb be good enough on an 351W with full exhaust, cam and ported heads?

On a 351W the front of the block ends at the front main cap ... on a 351C or 351M the bottom of the block extends a couple of inches past the front main cap.
In my opinion the 600CFM carb on a full dress 351 is cuttin it way to close to the edge.
