Torque wrench settings...
How many lbs of pressure do I need when putting on lug nuts and installing spark plugs?

I use 90-110 ft-lbs for my lug nuts, depending on which rims I've got on my car. I use the higher number for the three-piece Weld rims, lower for the stock turbine rims.
For cast iron heads, the recommended torque for spark plugs is 7-15 ft-lbs. I don't have aluminum heads so I don't know what they require. ------------------ Jeff Chambers Trophy Stock #3 11.86 Seconds / 113.8 MPH Chambers Racing Team |
