Default New Exaust - Power

How much HP/Torque would this add:

Long Tube Headers
No Cats
H - Pipe
Stainless steal mufflers
Dumps down at rear axle

I heard that you can only get 25hp out of a exaust, is this true?
Does each piece still add power?

All that won't add any hp/torque. It will free some up though . Also depends on your engine specs. What are they? On a stock stang, longtubes can hurt your powerband.

Anyways, if you're going from exhaust manifolds or factory headers and exhaust to what you have now, I'd say you'd free up anywhere from 10-15 horses.

The car is bone stock at the moment. It just has a Cold Air Induction w/o air silencer.

What would that entire exaust free up now?
I heard that if you do one part (mufflers ect) the others really don't do much?

What kind of mods would I need to do, in order to see benifits from it?

I have a Auto right now.

I got rid of my cats on my AUTO and it sounded cooler but I couldnt FEEL the power gains... they might have been there but it's tough to FEEL 5 HP... track times might show.. dyno charts too... I would loose the cats for nothing else other then the sound.. it sounds so much more bad ***.. if that's your thing... the cars come with HEADERs from the factory.. they arent great as headers goes but they are much better then most exhaust manifolds I've seen... that's 150 bucks for headers, shorties... LTs are more proabably more like 250.. might not show you any gains with a stock setup... might wanna spend the money on something more productive.. though if you're like the rest of us once you start modding you wont stop... so it'll be something you can grow into
