Default use 94-95 TB?

Is there any way to use a 95-95 TB on a 88-93 engine? I just bought an intake and TB second hand and didn't realize until it got here today that it was from a 94-95 car. Is there any way I can salvage it or do I have to sell it and get another one? Also is there a way to tell the difference between a TFS Street Intake and a Track Heat Intake? I know one has longer runners but any casting marks or something?
