![]() Guys need a little help. Got a 94 GT and Lost a lot of my low end pressure and the car is running like crap. Check engine light came on and I'd rather not spend 80 bucks on a ScanTool.
I thought at first it would be a clogged cat or something, but since its true dual it can't. So what do you guys think it is? My next guess is O2 sensor that sound right? |

![]() LOL, these cars are a pain in the *** when something goes wrong, cause its a pain to track anything down, could really be anything from-plugs and wires-tfi module-timing-fuel filter-bad mass air sensor-i really dont know how to help you, if you are popping up a check engine light, you can do the scan yourself with a couple of jumper wires.

![]() Damn you have a badass GT.
Thanks for the jumper cable idea, but I don't have a clue as how to check it with them. |

![]() It's just the low end power. The high end seems alright (it was never that great in the first place, but no noticeable change). Thanks for any thoughts.

![]() Find the data connector behind the passenger side front fender. Take the cover off. Take a jumper wire and do connect as follows:
![]() Make sure the car is off. Connect the wire. Get in the car and turn the car on (but don't start it). Wait a few seconds. You should hear the fan rev up and then your check engine light will flash. It will flash 2 sets of codes, one is the current problems, the other is problems in memory. The separator code is 1-1-1. Either post your codes or buy a Haynes repair manual. It will give better instructions to connect, and give all the error codes. Hope that helps. |
