Default suped up speed density and nitrous?

I think my 5.0 is making 250-260RWHP and as you know with speed density you are pretty much stuck with 19# injecters.

I want to know if I can safely spray a 125 shot with my current mods or would I be under injected.

Thanks,

Cool

SPRAY THE PISS OUT OF IT. If it is a wet system it will add it's own fuel. If it is a dry (like mine) it uses the FPR to add fuel through your stock set up. I use the 70hp dry kit, and have purchased the nessasary jets for a 100hp shot. Both sets work well. I know that the stock injectors are only good for 300hp, but my injectors don't know it. I had 375hp with stock injectors at 39psi and shot 100hp NOS on top of that with no problems. This is why I can not for the life of me understand why every one downs speed density. To me it is the best, to hell with having to buy sample tubes, mass air meters, big injectors. My stuff works great.

As long as you don't go with massive amounts of nitrous you'll be fine. Good luck.

Your car is running awesome to still have the 2.73's in it.

Later,

Later,
actually it's starting to get a little tired though.......my short block has over 200,000 on it .......13k of it since clocking that time on my sig

i haven't raced it much this year ,accept on the street .......so far the best time iv'e clocked in it was a 14.0 ......that was in the beginning of the year before i put the intake on it .......stock intake with ideal conditions 14.0 at 99 (65* , no humidity and at a sea level track).....after i put the intake on, it picked up a bit but i havn't actually had it at the track enough to clock good times
......i do know she'll stay right next to the ls1 chevy guys that are supposed to be running mid 13s ...raced enough of em on the street to know .....thats why i put the 13.8 in the sig....but the last time i ran it was a couple of months ago ,it was running 14.2s with 99% humidity and like 85* weather......i'm pretty positive it's got high 13s in it with 2.73s and good whether ....but i probly won't race it agian till next year

by next year i'm planning on having 3.27s in it ....i actually like high gearing for traveling ...i do alot of road trips and love being able to cruise at 90-95 acrossed a state or two without winding the moter up much

it really turns heads when i tell peaple the car that just beat em has that many miles on it ..... ...long live speed density
