Throw Out Bearing
I know some of you have replied in my other post (Frustrating Front End Noise) but anyone else have a throw out bearing go bad?
Not sure what the problem is but I have a '99 GT and I've been to the dealership 4 times already for this problem. Tonight I'm dropping it off for the 5th time! There's a sort of squealing noise when I'm at a stop idling with the clutch in and in gear. The noise gets louder and louder as I sit. If I take it out of gear, the noise stops as soon as I let out the clutch. I've had this noise occur when I back in the driveway too. Same thing, stops when I let the clutch out. Of course everytime the car's been at the dealer for this, it supposedly won't make the noise for them. Any thoughts? I'm supposed to head down to NC Outer Banks on Friday.
