Post bad fuel pump?

what are the symptoms of this? Do they just go all at once or is it gradule with incosistant performance?

Actually you can hear the pump starting to go. In my case, when I keyed the ignition, I could hear my pump energize and start to whine. It gradually got worse, so I replaced it with a 190-lph at about 95,000 miles.
