Welcome MSTANGfromSN.

We're all cool here it's just that there has been a lot of newbies on MW in the past week (not that there's anything wrong with that ) and there has been a lot of "New here, Just saying 'Hi'" posts. So as you may be able to figure out, the more of those "Just saying 'Hi'" posts, the less responses. Nothing against you or newbies personally, but the topic does kinda get old when you have 4 or 5 per week. KNow what I mean...

-------------------------------
'79 Mustang Coup
4" Cowl
Weld wheels (15x6;15x8)
Stock 5.8L
C4 w/ shift kit
1.5" MAC full length headers
Holley 750 CFM
Edelbrock intake
2.5" Off road H-pipe, 2-chamber Flowmasters
8.8" Rear end w/ 3.55 gears (Now that's more like it!!)
Front: 225/60/15 Rear: 255/60/15 Eagle GT II
14 x 4” K&N air filter (getting the Xtreme setup soon)

MSTANGfromSN:

Welcome to Mustang Works Online and the message boards. I don't encourage non-tech posts on this particular forum as it's clearly intended for tech questions and answers - not chat; that's what the Blue Oval Lounge forum is meant for.
Yeah, we run a tight ship here but it's for good reason and works for us. Tell you what; as a gesture of welcome, I'm leaving your post in this forum just to show you that we can be flexible and appreciate your joining us. As for responses; we're grown-ups here (age isn't a factor - attitude is); most of us have busy lives as well as our Mustangs to take of, but we welcome newbies all the time and with the amount of 'new' folks joining us every week, we can't all say 'HI' to everyone that posts a greeting. Sorry, but it's not personal.

Now, enjoy yourself and we'll look forward to hearing from you in the months to come.

I second that...nothing against the other boards but sometimes those guys/gals can be damn harsh, they hide behinds those Keyboards. Welcome and I hope you find all the info you need and meet a lot of nice people like I have.

Thumbs up

I can totally understand guys.

We get "newbies" at Stangnet all the time...every board is like that.

I will say this board does seems a bit slower then SN but then again i haven't spent that much time here.

MR50---Well now that i know you won't see anymore "non-tech" posts from me. Every board is diffrent in that respect & why SN now has 5.0 Tech & Talk forums.I appreciate the good will gesture.

Bob-- been awhile since i've seen you on SN nice of you to say hi.

Fostang-- not to degrade you but anyone can talk a bunch even if they know nothing... so being a senior member doesn't mean much to me. Especially considering on SN i have "burnt up the borads" & have a few hundred posts less than one of the mods & not to far behind the founder Mike Raburn.I'm currently the 3rd highest poster in the history of SN & have only been a member for a year. But like i said no disrespect bud.

Great to meet you all & look fwd to sharing some knowledge.

Mr 5 0 said it right when he said we all have busy lives. I saw your post yesterday and wanted to swing in and give you a "welcome aboard", but I was trying to get my heads off before I had to leave for work (never made it) and I was just stopping by to check my post. And in between tearing my car down I have 3 web sites I am working on for different people, and on top of all of that I work 60 hours a week at my regular job. Whew! I need a vacation!!

Anyway, welcome to the best d@mn Mustang site on the net.
