Stupid ? Please help

I'm looking to get a shift kit for my 1979 5.0 but I dont know what tranny it has in it, and its in a garage and i dont feel like going out and looking...

Its an automatic 3 speed ... no overdrive
stock from a 1979 5.0

My guess is its a C4 but i just wanted to doubt check
