Question help with oil pump

Its time for a new oil pump but i can't decide on a stock replacement or a high pressure is the high pressure worth the money and could someone explain how a windage tray works and is it worth putting on a street strip car. o and is there anything else i should do when i have the pan off. any info would be a big help

Do not use a high volume on a stock motor, it can't utilize it and tends to twist the pump driveshaft like a pretzel, have to use a hipo shaft too.

A WINDAGE TRAY JUST KEEPS THE OIL FROM SPLASHING UP ON THE CRANK WHILE IT TURNS, FREES UP SOME POWER BUT I DONT THINK IT WOULD BE WORTH IT ON A STOCK MOTOR
