Default has anyone's MSD coil done this?

I noticed a few weeks ago that the spark from my coil was actually arching out towards its casing (as shown in the picture)


I know this can't be good for spark, so I put the stock coil back in and it seems like its gained a little bit of power back, but it could just be a malfunction in the butt-dyno

do you think MSD will send me a new one, its not very old
