![]() First of all, the Haynes manual sucks A$S!!! Can you guys tell me where to hook the oil line for the gauge? The haynes manual don't tell where the old sending unit is. I think i have found it, but I am not sure about it. As for the temp gauge, where do you guys usually put the sending unit. These are mechanical gauges. Thanks.

![]() The oil pressure sender is located at the drivers side front of the block just next to the timing chain cover... you could either ditch the stock sender or use a "T" fitting to run both. I'd ditch the stocker for a cleaner install. You might want to consider using the coppper tubing over the plastic tubing supplied for obvious reasons... I still use the plastic w/ no problems as of now, just have it covered with the plastic tubing used to route wires through.
Depending on your intake, you should have two plugged ports at the back of the intake in the same relative location as the front two that are used for the stock sender and the hard line for the heater core. Or you can drill and tap the bung in your water neck like I did. Hope this helps, have fun! ![]() |
