Anyone in the Boston area, please help!!!
hey guys,
I've been trying to decide what exhaust setup to go with for a few weeks now. Even though I know how extremely expensive it is, I think that I'm gonna go with the Bassani. I know a shop in my area that will give me a deal on everything, headers, x-pipe w/ cats, and cat back and somewhat of a deal on installation. I could do the x and cat back myself but I don't want to mess with the headers. The entire thing will run me about $1600. I can probably get better prices online for the parts but again, I can't put them on myself. I'm pretty sure that this shop doesn't install anything that they don't sell so I'm kinda screwed. So what I really need to know is if you guys have any opinions on this and if you know of any quality shops that can do the work for not as much money. I think the install was going to be around $250. I just don't want to give my baby to some jacka@% to work on. Thanks guys scott

There is a guy in Hanover, MA you can try and call.. He does great exhaust work and charges very little... The last time I spoke with him, maybe a few years ago, he was staying away from headers, that may have changed.. The headers aren't too bad of an install if you have a little patience.. I ordered all my stuff through Summit and Mustangs Unlimited and did the complete install myself... $1600 seems like a lot of money for an exhaust system... Hell, I could do the install for you for a minimal fee... It annoys the hell out me that these shops totally rip people off...
I have Mac shorty Headers $200, BBK off-road H-pipe $150 and Mac after-cat pipes and mufflers $250 for a grand total of $600... Probably a days worth of work... Custom Exhaust 14 Hanover St, Hanover, MA 02339 Phone: (781) 826-2779 Matt
