![]() Do I put the fuel pressure guage on the valve which is on the fuel rail or the fuel pressure regulator. Do I need a code scanner for the KOEO Codes or will my Walmart code scanner work that has a blinking light. I also have a real crazy question, because these mechanics say that there is some thing in the wiring system that tells what gear the car is in. I say that is only in the AOD because the transmission has a sensor on the speedometer. Thanks for the help.

![]() The fuel pressure gauge is attached to the schrader valve, which is on the fuel rail, right behind the distributor.
Your Wal Mart scanner should work fine. Take care, ~Chris

![]() So I just ran a code scanner and a fuel pressure test. Engine light was not on but the scanner came up with 029 & 066. I haven't checked my material to reference the codes. Just wanting to get the ball rolling. I hooked up the fuel pressure test and it was 220 psi. I was not able hook it up when my car was having problems. But it seems to be enought pressure. Any input would be much appreciated.

![]() I believe my fuel pressure was 220 KPA instead of PSI. One of the mechanics that helped me said that it was plenty of fuel pressure for a GM.

![]() I was ackowledging General Motors in general because the mechanic that helped me hook up the fuel pressure gauge only works on GM trucks and deisel powered snow cats.
