Angry BFG drag radial with puncture, what to do

All right. Just bought new drag radials, less than 500 miles on them and I found somthing on the road. Luckily it was close to home. Unluckily it put a nice hole in my new tire. $#^%*@!

Now, does anyone have a suggestion?

I can plug it, but will that hold up? I do plan on running them at the strip. I've plugged tires before and they seem to hold up well, but I've never tried a plugged tire for racing.

Or should I have it tubed? If I do, then should both tires be tubed? Would there be any noticable performance difference to having one with a tube and one without?

Thanks
