Speedo gear
I am in the process of putting a clutch in my car and noticed that the speedo gear is chewed up. What would cause this?
I went to Auto-zone (also returned some pilto bearing tools) and they had no idea where I could get one. Where can I get one locally without ordering it? Will a speed shop have it?

Whoops, That is strange. I didn't see the other post for the speedo gears. I will give a few speed shops a call. I can't believe they are so expensive. It is only a plastic gear.

I just bought mine at the Ford Dealership. Was $6.95. But they usually don't have every one in stock. I got lucky, mine was in stock.
