No more racing, torque boxes gone
I went to the track wed night. I was racing the Banshee. The shifter jammed. Well unhook the trailer run the ol mustang. I babied off the line 13.00 @ 104. 2000 launch 12.70 @ 107. ripped it hard 12.60 @ 112 The 60fts have gone to the sky. 1.9s. Any way I started to put the poly bushings in yesterday. The old ones are like taking a propeller bushing out. The new one slips right in. Well all I did was the lower passenger side control arm. The bolt hole is wallowed real bad, the entire torque box is barely hanging on. It is torn in one place, bent, beat, you name it, its there. Have any of you fixed your own. With out buying Battle Boxes? This old wagon use to 1.59 60ft and has 250k miles on the body. I am glad I found it, but have to fix it.
