Default My motor

My 90gt has over 130k on it, not burning any oil or makin noises, I chance the fluids regualry but Just bought alotta top end mods such as Upper and lower intake, 65mm TB, Mass Air meter, I was wondering if it would be better to start at the block and work out instead of working down like maybe get a block and just build up a nice steetable motor with some modest bolt ons or maybe just get new seals and rings and then just build up my motor.

I wouldn't go to crazy on the motor.. It does have 130K on it.. These motors are very tough however.. I would concider a fresh block though if you have the $$ and the time before i went crazy on upper end stuff.. just my thoughts!

Well i'm a novice to building motors but ive been bolting stuff into them for years I just wanna build a stock 302 short block maybe with some nice pistons instead of stock and then just bolt my top end on which is still all new everything in the box, is there any kinda reading you guys would suggest on building a short block cause i'm gonna be doin this in my shed in spare time but I have some decent hook ups on shops around here for parts or machine work I cant do myself.
