Is it worth my time to.........
Do you guys think it is worth my time to port my heads and intake? I am thinking about doing it because i have everything i need to do it and my dad ports his own heads so he can give me a hand. Probably in a few months i am going to get a set of AFR's but until then do u think it is worth my time to port the gt-40p's?
Im running low 13's with the combo in my sig. What do u guys think it will run with a decent port and polish of my heads and intake. (of course all port matched) and a MAF (i still have the stock one) thanks for the help,

If you plan on doing it your self, YES. It is worth the experiance alone. It will give you an education that can be had no other way. Done correct you should see a half of a sec drop in ET, or better. You may even want to go to a HR258 comp cam, or a lunati wg1087 replica cam. Do you plan on cutting the box off the cobra. If so you can shorten the runners an inch and extend the box an inch. This will move the rpms up a little. Good luck with the project keep us posted with progress and results.
