![]() Ok I went and bought a digital multimeter yesterday to test my TPS since my idle is running about 1200. I put the red lead into the orange wire, and grounded the black to a ground, and not the black wire. When I turn the key to on, it reads 5.05v. How can this be, or am I doing something wrong? I loosened the screws and tried adjusting the TPS, but anytime I moved it, the volts would change for a second and go right back to 5.05. One last question, is there a specific setting on the multimeter I should be using? Right now I am usin gthe DC 20. Any help is greatly appreciated.
