![]() Has anybody removed the heat blanket from under the hood? For those who have, has it helped the car run cooler, and has it made your hood paint bubble up or change color?
Thanks in advance. ------------------ 94GT, cobra intake, 65mm TB, 75mm PRO-M, Mac cold air induction, march underdrive pulleys, Mac shorty headers, off-road H-pipe, Mac cat back, FMS drive shaft, FMS 3:73 gears, Jet chip, kirban shifter, eibach 2" lowering springs, Konig villain 17x8 front 17x9 rear. |

![]() I havent had any trouble at all with mine. In fact I even cut holes in the underside of the hood. That is a must when running GT40 intakes with a 1" spacer plate. I cant really say for sure whether or not it ran cooler. Its been too long since Ive done it, and I didnt even think about that. It kinda makes sense that it would run cooler though.
