Default My Mustang Smells Like Gas

No, not like some are thinking, my car smells like gasoline. Say I drive it to a store, go in for a few minutes and come out when I get to my car it smell like gas. I've looked on my driveway and taken a quick check under the hood and nothing obvious pops up. I am open to suggestion as where to look and what to check. Thanks for any helpful replies.

Look around the injectors. If an O-ring is going bad, fuel can puddle around them. You should check your fuel pressure, too, and see how fast the gauge drops when you shut off the engine. It shouldn't move at all for at least 10 minutes. If it does, you have fuel leaking someplace. Is it hard to start?

I had the charcoal cannister tube get seared in half by new mac headers and the dangling tube lets ofF some mighty aromatic gasoline smells.

That and on mine, the box around the gasoline filler tube was not fully attached, so every time I gassed up, the cabin would smell like gas.

Good thing I love the smell of gas!

yeah, check the charcoal canister. if the hose is disconnected, or the canister gone and the hose not plugged, it will smell like gas really bad.
