Default Motor questions

Ok Ive decided to get my 145k plus motor a rebuild, so far I have a collection of parts under my bed waiting such as a new TFS upper and lower intake, 77mass air,65mm TB and crane ps91 coil already installed. I'm saving for a set of heads which I could use help on making a choice i'm lookin for affordable heads such as a stock set with some after market valves n springs and roller rockers and id like to get a nice streetable cam and new timing chain since i'll be doing the cam swap and i'll be there anyways, please help me on some head and cam choices, this is my daily and i'm lookin to get into high low 13's consistantly, thanks.

Just trying to keep it alive I really need some advice on a nice Head and cam combo for the street, I gotta drive to work on the highway just about everyday.

Hi, I have a '93 lx and I'll just share with you what I did when I needed a rebuild. My block was in good shape, it only had 70K miles so I still use it. My crank was shot, so instead of buying a new 302 crank I just decided to buy a whole kit since I needed rods too. I got the 331 stroker kit from Probe for $1295. I already had Trick Flow heads, 1.6 roller rockers, E303 cam, and a host of other stuff. I decided to swap the cam for the Trick Flow stage 2 cam and I am not dissapointed one bit. It is also my daily driver so don't let all the mods scare you. It is a powerful but tame combo, it idles nicely and runs smoothly. Plus, even with 3.73's and all these mods my gas mileage never got worse, I get 24-25mpg on the interstate and depending how I drive in the city I usually get 14-18mpg which is as good as a stock 5.0, but I do have to use 93 octane. Not sure if you wanna spend that much money, but if you do, you won't be dissapointed. Oh yeah, I am a horrible driver and I still ran consistent 13.2-13.4's at over 109mph.
