Best head choice for present and future?
I've blown a head gasket in my 5.0 and need to repair it. I was planning to replace the
engine with a stroker 331 or 342 at the beginning of next year. What head would you choose to place on the car now, that would work good with a street stroker in six months? It's mostly street drive with some 1/8 mile strip action. Check sig for current combo. ------------------ 89GT-AOD-2400stall-3.73-lakewood-kyb-edelbrock 2.5rpm/x-pipe-1 5/8 heddmen-msd 6al/coil-cobra intake-65mm tb-73c&l-adj reg/gauge-6lb powerdyne |

A good set of aluminum heads that will flow well with the stroker.
TFS TW's-$1000 flow 255/195 approx @ .550 AFR 185 -$1300 flow 265/195 approx @ .550 Canfield-$1300 flow 260/195 approx @ .550 The AFR's and Canfields really kick arse above .550, where the TFS level off some. ------------------ Dustin 89 GT(Saleen Clone) 392 rwhp UNTUNED(TFS Intake, spacer,Heads and #2 cam, BD-11A 9#(only boosting 6???WTF),1.6 rr's,BBK 70mm TB,FMS 70mm MAF,MSD 6BTM,FMS 9mm wires,BBK longtubes and H-Pipe,American Thunder cat back,3.55 lots more... 12.564@118.49 on street tires is my best so far. Thanks SaleenGTS, I was thinking about the AFR's. Will the larger valves work ok on a stock piston and will I have enough bottom end torque.

I think Trick Flow is the best bang for your buck.
