![]() A friend was asking me about his 97 Mustang 3.8L it has a ticking noise coming from the valve covers. It only has 38K miles on it. I havent listen to it myself but I thought I should ask some Stang guys if they have had this problem before. It is running good just making some noise. He said he took it to the dealer and they said it didnt make any noise with the covers off. He also said that it doesnt do it at idle, you have to get the rpms up and then it does it. I was thinking lifters?? maybe. Thanks Sorry for the long post
