Default Supercharger question

Thinking of buying a sn-89 complete kit, but needs rebuilding. Do you think $600 is a good buy? looked at kit and everything is there and is in good shape, turned blower by hand and dosen't feel to bad but feels a little rough. guy said it was pushing 10#. Has about 115,000 miles on it. What does it cost to rebuild one, and is this something I can do, I have access to a full shop. should I buy?
