Default Cobra Intake/Stock Heads/? Cam

What would be the best off the shelf cam for a stock 302 shortblock with a cobra intake, 65mm T/B, 73mm MAF, stock heads with crane valve springs, 5 speed, 3.73's, and other bolt on's. The car is a 90lx that weight's 3200 with me in it.

What rocker's? 1.6's or 1.7's Also, would longtubes or shorties work better? Do you guy's think I can get high 12's on E.T Street's with this. I'm also hoping for 11's on 125 shot of NOS.

Since you have aftermarket valve springs I would go with 1.7's.

You should be able to achieve your goals with the parts listed.

ditto

the stock cam is a suprisingly good performer, especially when coupled with some 1.7's

Save your money, and labor until you get a good set of heads.

Cool

Jeff Chambers has "stock heads" and he don't use no stinken stock cam

Really there are fast cars with "stock" cams, why a rocker insteasd of a cam? I use an E with stock rockers. And I have a set of rollers in a bucket in the shed, I don't even feel like going through the trouble of installing them.

If you're not gonna use the stock cam with 1.7s then I'd suggest an "E" or "B" a TFS Stage 1, a little cheaper priced too, and its a dual pattern cam, all with 1.6 roller rockers.
