				 | Battery Disconnect and ECM Reset When I store my car, I use a battery disconnect on the negative battery cable, and I was wondering if this will cause me to need to reset the ECM when I get ready to drive the car......I know that when you reset the ECM, you disconnect the battery, and then drain the capacitors, etc. Will using the battery disconnect cause me to need to do the reset each time I run the car? Just a thought....any advice on this? Mike |

				 | Disconnecting your battery for that long usually will reset the ECM. If you want to make sure your ECM capacitors are drained, remove both cables from the battery a touch them together just for a few quick seconds. Murdock |
