Hesitating,Bucking

Hello fellow Mustang lovers,this is krepe again.I have a Problem, I have a 84' 351 Windsor in a 89'Mustang GT,original motor is supposed to be a 5.0 HO. Well the problem is my car for some reason all of a sudden started buckin' and hesitatin' I went to the shop had my plugs and oil,belt,and a/c checked because I was goin on a trip.Well ever since then its been hesitating,bucking.Anyone know what this could be? ever since it started doing this i have changed the plugs again,cap,rotor,fuel filter,I went to the parts store and they checked out my check engine light cuzz its been comin on,the engine light started coming on a few wks bfore the hesitating.Well they plugged this nifty computer thing up to it, and it said something bout the solenoid,well its not the soleniod its the fawk i forgot,solenoid somethin its on the bottom connected to a lil box under where my rad cap is but on the bottom there there a lil box and off of the box there is a lil solenoid thing there with a vacuum hose coming off of it.the results said it was that,when i located the hose there i couldnt find out where it went, i know it hooks up to the intake somewhere, i have a edelbrock performer upper/lower intake.it wasnt plugged up when i found it so i plugged it up,and it is still doing it,im thinking it should be hooked up but thats with the 89gt not the 84 windsor does anyone know where this hose goes,if it should be hooked up or plugged up,i know this is alot to read this must be the most i ever wrote anywhere in my whole life i appoligise,and if u read all of this i appreciate your help, if noone knows what i am talking about let me know im sure i can find out what it is exactly called.

ahhh my girlfriend just found out what it is called,she found the slip thing from the auto part store it is called (THE CANNISTER PURGE SOLENOID)
