Default Fuel worries?

I am not even close to my first start up but need some advice for the future.I parked my car over two years past and slowly began my build up project.Old motor yanked and a new 331 is almost finished.I had about 1/4th tank of gas in my car and this fuel is still in the tank as it sat for a long time.I have not addressed the fuel pump yet but I know I will have to upgrade it.My question is what should I do before I try to fire my new motor as far as this old gas is concerned?Should I try to remove all the fuel or just add some fresh gas?I think I put some stabalizer in the tank when I parked it butI cant remember. Thanks for any advice given.

2 years is too long, drain it and put some new gas in it. By now all you have is some funny smelling varnish in the tank.
