which electric fan to use?
i've heard you can use lincoln electric fans as well as t bird fans there any truth to this, or should i just buy a new one?

Seek, and ye shall find....
Go over to the corral and search the forums over there for "electric fan" and you will be surprised at the amount of information you will find.
The short answer your question is, "Yes." Here is another site for you to read. Click on the MK VIII Fan Install section If the URL doesn't work at first, wait a while and try it. Lots of people look at his site and exceed his bandwidth.

I'm using one from an olds delta 88. There are several that will fit, all will take some fabrication.
Good ones are: Mark VIII lincolns 3.8L Taurus and Sables Newer Crown Vics 3.8 and 4.6 T birds The first to of those are 2-speed fans that can move a ton of air but draw a ton of current. The olds fan I'm using draws less than 20 amps and keeps my temperature steady . I do have a steeda HD brass-copper radiator so it doesn't require a huge fan.
