I like my 5.0, but my '03 Cobra's growing on me
http://forums.mustangworks.com/showt...threadid=36128
Check out my post to the Modular forum. 386 rwhp, stock (with K&N). I couldn't fricken' believe it. Neither could the import techs that were running the dyno..

Thats impressive stock numbers, I`m curious though- what kinda procharger are you running on the 5.0? My combo is similar to yours only the procharger is still in the closet.lol is that the stock block?

Dave, thanks. I'm using the P600B. The bottom end of my 5-liter is stock displacement with some beefed up internals (nothing serious though). If I could do it all over again, I would have used a 331 stroker.
Lovinspeed, yeah, it doesn't take much to put these Cobras in the 11 second range. If you want one, I'd say wait a while and find one used. You'll avoid the new car markup and still have the warranty.

You just had to rub it in didn't ya Russ?
Do you know how many diffreent ideas I've come up with to try and justify buying an 03 Cobra? The only way I could afford one would be to sell my 89 and I'm not going to do that. Enjoy the Cobra!!! I'll just live my life vicariously through you until I can get one! Dan
