wire to oil pan
Hi all,
I have an 88 LX that the previous owner dropper a Tbird Motor into. This thing is a wiring nightmare. One of the many problems it has is an extra wire by the d side O2 sensor. I saw on another 88 that this wire goest to the oil pan. My oilpan doesn't have a place for it. I assumed it was for the oil pressure sensor but I have one hooked up to a sensor on the side of the block. My gage reads pressure if the engine is not running but drops to 0 when I start it. I tried hooking this other wire to the sensor but it didn't work. Any idea's? Jay |

That wire goes to the oil level sensor. I wouldn't worry about it. You check your oil level often like any good Mustang owner would.
