Default What do ya'll think of this car....

As far as reliability goes. Will it last? Looks like an S-Trim on a stock motor. 92, so it's forged. Seems like he's got boost retard and some other goodies. What's the verdict?

All those mods and never run? That's kinda hard to believe. I would look at it in person before bidding on it.

Looks like a decent car, but if I had +$10k to spend on a car I'd buy one like I just bought -1990 Coupe with 67,000 miles/$4900- then put the remaining $5,000+ into it and set it up the way I want it, plus everything will be new and you'll be sure it's been setup right. Do you live close enough where you could go check it out first before you bid on it? Then you could look everything over real good and see what kind of guy the owner is too.

i'm in austin as well, so thats the only reason i'm considering it. (its a cool car, too...) But anyway, the thing i wanted to know was can that combo be expected to last under a good tune with a safe A/F? Or would the boost just be too much?

At 8-10 psi it would hold up fine. It has a good fuel system and the correct electronics to be safe.

I wouldnt buy it cause I like to build my own HP but it does seem like a bad @ss car.
